Reflections – AtoZ Challenge

During the month of April, I blogged everyday except Sunday. It was part of a challenge called “AtoZ Challenge”. You can read all about the challenge here.

It was a daunting task for me since I blog about marketing and picking topics everyday from the marketing field was the most challenging part. It really helped when one day, I sat and wrote down all the alphabets in one column and possible marketing blog topic ideas in the other column. Everyday after that, I just had to look-up the “index” and start typing my thoughts.

The best part about blogging every day was the number of visitors on my blog. The comments from friends, family, the moderators of the AtoZ Challenge as well as other fellow bloggers kept my motivation up and made the journey easier. It was also fun to see other blogger’s subjects and topics for every day.

Special shout-out to Ankita, Mithila, Premal, Pratap Uncle, Cathy, Priya, Jasmine, Patricia, Nisha, Julia, S.L.Hennessy, Elizabeth, Rushabh, Sangeeta, David, Suman, Rajesh, Anand sir, Sumy and all the regular readers for making this so much fun!

I also met my goal of overcoming the writer’s block and ramping up my blogging speed. I can now very easily write up blog posts, even on complex topics. You name it and I can write about it!

This was my first time taking part in this challenge. There is frankly nothing I would say should be improved upon. It is a perfect challenge in every way for the bloggers (both newbies and the pros) and I am definitely doing this challenge again next year.
